VERDICT: Master Malachy is two from two over fences and arrives here on the back of an impressive win over C&D earlier this month. Granted it was only a three runner event on that occasion, but the manner of his victory suggested he hs taken to chasing well and is expected to get the hat-trick up. Cawthorne has been in fine form throughout the summer, only narrowly failing to make it four wins on the spin here last month, and looks the likely danger. Any market confidence behind Mordred would be significant on his chasing debut.
