VERDICT: Cool Lightning's dam won at 6f on her debut and she was a decent performer too, so the daughter of Exceed And Excel is worth monitoring in the market. The safest option, though, looks to be Pink Parfait, who should have learned a lot from her debut at Catterick earlier in the month and she might be open to more progress than some of her rivals. It Is Now shouldn't be far away, with the step back up in trip appearing to be a positive move.
