VERDICT: Burning Emotion had been knocking on the door before getting her head back in front, when she was last seen over this distance at Thirsk, and Julie Camacho's charge is entitled to great respect in this field. The three-year-old has been handed a 4lb rise in the ratings for that half-length success, but she won more comfortably than the winning margin suggests and this mark may not halt her progression. Piastrella tends to run her race and another bold bid can be expected, while Serenity completes the shortlist.
