Parramount had been running well over hurdles during the jumps season last year however his form dipped slightly in that sphere and connections have gone down the flat route more recently. After running over trips that didn't play to his strengths he made a very good handicap debut at Newcastle over 1m4 1/2f when 2nd to a progressive type in Baltic (won again since). He then went to Haydock where he tried to make all the running over 1m6f and looked to be in with a shout turning for home only to fade into 6th. Now back down in distance he could well make a bold bid from the front and his out and out galloping style should be suited by today's track. Parramount rates a 4 star each way Pick.
