An excellent day's racing at Sandown and here are the thoughts of our Racing Factors tipster.

Thunder Wonder showed fair form as a 2-year old last season, including a win at Thirsk. He looked like he needed the run back when 3rd of 8 at Southwell over 1m at the start of the month and proved that assessment to be true when winning easily at Musselburgh next time out. Thunder Wonder made most of the running that day and stayed on strongly at the finish to win going away by 5 1/2 lengths. That race looked a strong race on paper and the manner of the success means he is due to go up 10lb in the future but can race today off just a 6lb penalty making him 4lb well in. The stiff 1m here at Sandown should really play to his strengths and if can race prominently again, he could be a hard horse to catch at the finish. Thunder Wonder rates a 4 star win Pick.
