VERDICT: A few of these arrive in fine form but the vote goes to Reginald Charles. The son of Zoustar returned from a 381-day absence when successful over C&D before going on to record a cosy triumph at Newcastle next time. The handicapper has since had his say, but given past exploits, a 6lb rise should be no barrier to further success. Fistral Beach has won three of her last four racecourse appearances and she looks certain to continue that upward trajectory, while others to note include King Of York and Billy McGarry.
