VERDICT: Lednikov must enter the reckoning after making all over a furlong shorter here and a 4lb penalty is unlikely to prevent him from going close again. However, the form of This Time Maybe's narrow defeat over C&D looks slightly stronger and Mark Usher's gelding edges the verdict. Dan Horsford has his string in good heart at present and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Nivelle's Magic step up on her fifth-placed reappearance.
