VERDICT: Calafrio was caught close home when second at Thirsk on her return to action. Well clear of the rest of the field, Philip Kirby's sprinter can build on that encouraging effort and go one better. Zaman Daar may well have finished closer than fourth at Brighton with a clear run and looks a threat off his current mark, while Thunderous Love made a winning reappearance at Southwell and there could be more to come from her this year.
