VERDICT: An open contest in which only a tentative vote can go to Ornately, who recorded a comfortable success at Wolverhampton on her handicap debut in February. Absent since, the daughter of Kingman should relish the switch to turf and, from 4lb higher, is expected to go close. Mamma Maria displayed promise without ever looking likely last season, but Dubawi's offspring can often be late bloomers and improvement is anticipated on this first start as a three-year-old. Knights Gold is also noted.
