VERDICT: After being narrowly denied over 7f at Thirsk when sporting first-time cheekpieces (retained) on his penultimate start, Langholm quickly made amends to score readily over the same C&D earlier this month. At a venue where he has performed well in the past, he gets the vote to successfully shoulder a 4lb penalty. Shark Two One shaped with more promise than the result suggests when finishing fourth over 6f at Leicester last month and must be respected, while Obee Jo is the pick of the remainder.
