VERDICT: Scarriff fairly bolted up over a mile here earlier this month, but she is likely to be well found in the market as a result and, dropping in trip off a 10lb higher mark, the value could lie with Pembrokeshire. He performed with promise when finishing third on his penultimate start over 7f at Ayr last month, before shaping like he was still in good heart when sixth in a higher grade most recently. Dropping in class off a tumbling mark, a bold bid could be on the cards. Recent Catterick winner Patontheback is noted too.
