VERDICT: Although unable to follow up his victory at Ayr in late May when third at Wetherby 12 days later, Warminster was far from disgraced on that occasion. Katie Scott's gelding will appreciate this return to 6f and compensation could await. The biggest threat is likely to emerge from Rainbow Rain, who posted a close-up third at Thirsk recently, while an improved bid from three-time course winner B Associates wouldn't surprise on his return to this venue off a declining mark.
