VERDICT: This may be a small field but just about anything can happen so it may be wise to go wide in the exotics. Theappleofmyeye has been a bit costly but the return to 1600m could see her get back in the fray. She has drawn well again. Elegant Act has been coming from off the pace on the poly but a decent draw may see her prove more effective near the front. Highveld filly Bushveld was supported in her last start and ran an improved race. It could be the right kind of race for her. Gelsomina can't be faulted on her last run and with consistent Cerulean Dancer must be in with a fair chance.
