VERDICT: A very competitive race. Western Walk's close fourth in a higher grade at Punchestown entitles him to plenty of respect. He has winning form over further which will stand to him if this turns into a battle. There is one of these good pots in West Is Awake and he represents a shrewd stable. Champion conditional Danny Gilligan's 3lb claim is a bonus. Given the form of Gavin Cromwell and Keith Donoghue, Toto Too merits a second look. This is a marked step up in trip for him, but he has a decent win ratio. Winning Smut, Brampton Belle and Junior Rattler add further spice to the mix.
