VERDICT: Lilian Du Paradis (9) put in an excellent final kilometre at Cholet late last month; she has had time to freshen up and, in similar form, can impose. It is unlikely to be all plane sailing though, considering how well Lembelie Verderie (8) performed at Caen recently, and the untapped potential Luxe D'erable (3) has yet to display.
