VERDICT: Pertusato (5) was unlucky not to have achieved a better result/finishing position on the PSF last time (7th) but, on the strength and consistency of his earlier form, is worth another chance on his return to the turf. He will, however, have to thwart the threat of Simons King (3) who bounced back to form with an encouraging last start (3rd). Gold Player (4) is favourably positioned in the stalls, unlike in his previous outing, so should give a more competitive account of himself, with the shortlist is completed by King Hartwood (11) and On Lockdown (8).
