VERDICT: Mc Dazzler and juvenile stablemate French Flame showed ability when racing in the Western Cape. The former made a fair poly debut when second and finished ahead of Always Shining. He has drawn better this time round and should have every chance. Always Shining is knocking at the door and should be right there. Move To Prove and French Flame have scope and need to be included. Older runners Captain Marsala, Red Mountain and Run To Rio are all knocking at the door and need to be taken seriously. Breath Of Magic and Catavar add to a tough race.
