VERDICT: Last-time-out Huntingdon scorer Totterdown showed that he's still very much capable when denying a subsequent winner on that occasion. However, the combination of a 5lb rise in the ratings and quicker ground conditions could prove the veteran's undoing, with handicap-debutant Manuelito making most appeal. A mark of 113 for last month's maiden hurdle success at Wincanton looks more than fair and there should be more to come from the son of Cracksman. Triple C&D victor John Betjeman must also enter calculations.
