VERDICT: Wal Cassandre (1) ran a pleasing race last time when second at Durtal last month and has solid claims of going one better today. Don Du Ciel (2) won last time at Blain and is possibly the main danger to the selection. Idylle D'alene (4) is also a last-time out winner at Blain and that was her debut in a cross-country race so she can only improve from that experience. Farasilver (3) is also worth a mention.
