VERDICT: Another tough one. Mar Del Plata has room for improvement but carries top weight on his poly debut. He didn't do badly on handicap debut and could enjoy himself here. Preemptive Strike ran a fair race when returning to the poly and is now back over his favourite distance. Should be right there. Watch out for Gimme A Rainbow who is one point lower than the mark he last won off. He is capable of mowing down this field and has drawn pole position. Phaka Imali found Stevie Gee too good last time but has much in his favour here and could turn it around.
