VERDICT: Amerigo Vespucci got off the mark with a narrow victory in a similar event at Yarmouth a couple of weeks ago and the three-year-old merits the utmost respect off just a 3lb higher mark. Bramble Jelly showed plenty of promise when third at Windsor a week ago and she could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Meet Me In Meraki and Clear Justice.
