VERDICT: Open race to end, go wide in exotic bets. Political Party must surely pick up a win on current form. He has run well at both this venue and Hollywoodbets Greyville recently and won't mind being up in distance as his only win was over 1600m. Jazz Festival has been a tad disappointing but turned in a useful performance again last time. It could be the right race for him. Shotgun Willie produced a powerful finish to show he stays the distance. He could follow up if the race is run to suit again. Pongola and Mr Molony have done everything but win. Both must be taken seriously.
