VERDICT: Serious Ego was well beaten into eighth in a class 2 event at Musselburgh on his latest outing, but he was dropped 2lb for that effort which puts him only 1lb higher than his last winning mark. With Brian Hughes back on board and given he drops in grade, he looks the one to side with. Agilulf finished a fair third over 2m4f last time and he is an interesting contender, while Lifetime Adventure is worth a second look sporting first-time blinkers.
