VERDICT: There was a lot to like about Glencassley's chase debut when making all on his return at Hereford last month. A 3lb rise in the handicap looks far from insurmountable for Charlie Longsdon's charge and a double could be on the cards. Pearly Island didn't appear to enjoy the drop in distance when a well-beaten third at Plumpton earlier this month, but a return to the C&D of his last triumph should see the eight-year-old in a better light. Mole Court should appreciate these quicker ground conditions and is also noted.
