VERDICT: Mereside Diva got up by the smallest of margins at Redcar in October and makes her return to the fray off a 2lb higher mark, so she has to be respected. However, she could come out second best to Gulliver, who was only denied by half a length in third at Southwell and reverts to turf on a career-low mark. David O'Meara's veteran looks to have lots in his favour to take his career victories into double digits. Hurstwood and Minnesota Lad could also have a say.
