VERDICT: Gretzky (9) has run well on both his runs so far and was a pleasing third at Chantilly over 1900m in mid-March last time. He is the selection ahead of Ouro Preto (7) who has been a bit below par in the last two runs but was a promising second at Chantilly last September and can get back on track in this. Zryan (1) has been second on the last two runs and needs to be respected. Mekhximaa (2) can also be involved and can only improve from his latest run.
