VERDICT: Dan Skelton landed the corresponding event 12 months ago and he looks have another solid contender in the form of Hitching Jacking. The seven-year-old has shown moderate form across his three fencing starts to date, but the handicapper has somewhat relented and it could be that forecast soft ground holds the key. Montgomery continued his upward trajectory when completing a hat-trick at Bangor last month and is respected, while Marble Sands should not be underestimated either.
