VERDICT: Palamon looks capable of landing a maiden of this standard. The Decorated Knight gelding was pulled up in the 'Boodles' at Cheltenham last time having been badly hampered and a line can be drawn through that run. He had run well previously when third to Ndaawi at Naas and a reproduction of that form may be enough now. Mordor was brought down by that fall of Karia Des Blaises at Cheltenham and is another who should be a big player back in maiden company. He was third on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown over Christmas but was behind the selection in Punchestown subsequently. Henry de Bromhead's newcomer Love Me, a French import by Ectot, is one to note in the market.
