VERDICT: Spartan Army continues to go from strength to strength since switching to the all-weather and a further 4lb rise for his most recent success at Lingfield, beating the reopposing Prydwen (second), could prove lenient. Alan King's charge can complete the four-timer at the main expense of three-time Group 3 winner Max Vega and Palace Boy, who has over a length to make up with the selection from their clash last month. Improving Irish raider Tyson Fury and Vaguely Royal cannot be ruled out either.
