VERDICT: Jaguar Du Gite (7) looked to have lost his way before getting back on track with a win last time in his first appearance in the claiming category and has subsequently changed hands. He does, however, resume his partnership with Yoann Lebourgeois and will be fully unshod for the first time in his career, so seems capable of following up. Jean Madrik (8) has already proven his competitiveness at this level and, although out of sorts, could resurface in a race of this nature. Joyce Mika (5) is in good shape and has the means to play a leading role too, while Kangourou (3) isn't without a chance either against older rivals.
