ANALYSIS: Not always fluent in rear, closed before 5th, slow and lost place 6th, behind 4 out, pulled up before 3 out
VERDICT: Moon Chime won a deeper contest over 2m at Huntingdon last month and, given he got better the further he went that day, stepping up in distance here is of little concern on the back of that commanding performance. Rocket Ronald showed ability when second to an odds-on shot at Leicester on his racecourse bow last November and he commands respect. Similar comments apply to Big John Wayne, whose Rules debut third in a Hereford novice hurdle looks solid given the runner-up has won since.
