VERDICT: Romann should give Jamie Powell a good spin. This six-year-old gelding has won twice before in Dundalk and a reproduction of his run in a close third on penultimate start in Killarney would have him on the premises. Deluca Chop won over C&D in February and has a shot at doubling his career total. He hasn't been running badly on the turf, but a return to this surface offers a decent chance of another success as this isn't a strong contest. Mads Black Eights is capable of a big run as she enjoys this trip around Dundalk. A recent fourth in Punchestown indicates that she could go well.
