VERDICT: This represents a considerable drop in class for Mereside Diva, who finished a very creditable fourth at Hamilton on her latest outing earlier this month. She retains the mark from that run and merits respect with that in mind, but the unexposed Al Muzn makes both his handicap and turf bow and remains of interest for powerful connections. Recent all-weather winner Protest Rally adds further spice to the race.
