VERDICT: Several hold good chances including Danzart, who undoubtedly has sound claims given his resurgent form, but running off a 9lb higher mark than for his Thirsk success obviously makes life tougher. Jems Bond is also highly respected on his peak all-weather performances but his record of 0-10 on turf is a concern. Therefore, preference is for Variety Island, who has gone well here in the past and, from 3lb below his last winning mark (all-weather), he could be primed to strike with his match-fitness assured.
