VERDICT: A fine trotter in the making, Kaporal Des Forges (6) was just beaten in a sprint at Saint-Brieuc, but is a colt that should suit the Vincennes profile and can make his metropolitan debut a winning one. Eric Raffin will still be keeping an eye on Kentucky Scarlet (1) who has impressively won his last two. Kool And The Gang (7) was only beaten by a very good horse last time out and looks set to give another competitive account. King Aulnaies (5) makes his Vincennes debut on a hat-trick but looks more a place prospect on this occasion.
