VERDICT: A game winner over an extended 2m at Doncaster earlier in the month, Ballygeary should not be underestimated despite having to shoulder a 12lb penalty for his two hurdling successes, but it could pay to side with the Lucinda Russell-trained Caithness here. He was five and a quarter lengths back in fourth over 2m1f at Newcastle last month and is entitled to improve after only two starts. Pats Dream is unexposed and warrants respect on his return from a winter break.
