VERDICT: The John Butler-trained Inaam is an intriguing contender given he arrives following a decent third on his most recent outing over 7f at Newcastle last month. However, his losing run stretches back to January 2021, so it is easier to side with Lothian. The gelded son of Coach House lost little in defeat when finishing half a length behind the winner over this C&D on his latest run and is fancied to bounce back to winning form. Macon Belle was denied by the narrowest of margins last time and can give the selection plenty to think about.
