VERDICT: Calcutta Dream must saddle a 5lb penalty for his recent C&D success, so it might pay to look elsewhere and Selecto could be the one. Stella Barclay's charge, a dual course-and-distance winner, hasn't been at his best of late, but he drops from 1m4f and that could eke out an improved display. Irv has been largely consistent in recent starts and he merits a place on the shortlist.
