VERDICT: Ruby Island lacks hurdling experience but she was fourth in a decent Listed bumper at Cheltenham last month and that form gives her a big chance in a race of this nature. Royale Dance scored over course and distance last month and may prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Miss Lamb also merits a place on the shortlist.
