VERDICT: Macho Mania caught the eye when staying on nicely to finish runner-up at Kempton a fortnight ago and any natural progression from that outing gives him leading credentials. De Bruyne ran a fine race here to finish third over a furlong shorter whilst shaping like he will relish this extra yardage. Mistamac has perhaps had a few problems having not been seen since Catterick in May but is another to be interested in.
