VERDICT: In this competitive contest it may pay dividends to side with Opening Bid on his return to the larger obstacles. The seven-year-old has shown glimpses of promise over fences and it would be no surprise if a mark of 102 underestimates his ability. Miladygrace gave a good account when third on chase debut and warrants plenty of consideration despite unseating at Ludlow last time out. Dindin recorded a gallant effort when second at Fontwell earlier this month and completes the shortlist.
