VERDICT: Wild Lion, who won this race 12 months ago from a 6lb lower mark, and Bringitonboris are both respected. However, Nigwa has far more scope for improvement having got off the mark over 1m2f at Ripon in late August. The drop back in trip should not be a problem for this well-bred filly and an opening mark of 81 may underestimate her.
