VERDICT: Big Island landed some nice bets in a 20-runner handicap over this trip at Galway last month and could follow up off his revised mark. The Canford Cliffs gelding also appreciated soft ground when gaining both wins on the Flat for Johnny Feane. John Cannon also comes here off the back of a win after taking advantage of a good opportunity in a Listowel maiden. Mount Brown progressed nicely earlier this year winning a Wexford maiden on testing ground and could still be on a competitive mark having shaped well last time in a big field handicap at the Punchestown Festival. Cottie reverts back from fences and is another for the shortlist.
