VERDICT: Final Orders is well suited by race conditions and ran well on chase debut at Downpatrick. Versatile trip-wise, he also likes a sound surface and any progression from his chase debut could see strongly involved in this similar event. The Abbey is also suited by race conditions, being rated 102 both over hurdles and fences. He is winless in eight chase outings but has finished second four times and is also trip-versatile and suited by good ground. Emir De Rots was claimed back at Clonmel on Thursday and has a bit to find on overall form, although has chase experience. Maciver had a clear round on his recent chase debut and can get involved dropping in grade today, having shown capable hurdles form this summer. King Ferdinand was useful in the UK and debuts for new connections but lacks a recent run.
