Pique' has run to only a fair level of form in 3 maiden/novice contests so far and earned herself a mark of 70. However she looks like a type that will improve significantly with age and also with distance, something she gets here being stepped up from 1m1f to 1m3f. Her dam Pongee was a multiple winner over 1m2f-1m4f and her sire Nathaniel won the King George at Ascot, so it is safe to presume that as Pique's stamina gets drawn out the better she will become. Pique's trainer is a master at improving this type of horse and she could well rack up a sequence of wins. Pique' rates a 5 star each way Pick.
