Telemark showed some very smart form as a 2-year old last season and was behind the Derby 2nd on his debut as well as being not too far in a Group 3 contest at Newmarket on his final start. So it was a bit disappointing to see him trail in last on his return to action at Newbury in April, his first start since being gelded. However you can always forgive a horse one bad run and he can return to form in what looks a slightly easier race. Ed & Simon Crisford have a healthy 33% Racing Factors rating at Thirsk and the easy 7f should suit Telemark well. Telemark rates a 4 star each way Pick.
