Trailblazer has had 3 runs for current connections, all at Newcastle and seems to be he is getting the hang of things. He arrived from the Muir & Grassick yard in December 2022 rated 70, however on his first start for current connections was beaten a long way over today's course and distance. His subsequent 2 runs over 1m2f were slightly better and it could well be he is finding his feet now for his new yard. On the plus side he has now dropped to a workable handicap mark of 63 (was rated as high as 75) and couple that with Jockey Kevin Stott having a 50% Racing Factors rating with the trainer, it all bodes well for a big run from Trailblazer. He rates a 1 star each way Pick.
