Magsood was progressive in the main last season as a 2-year old, where he won a race at Beverly and ran well in 3 other maiden/novice events. He was pitched into handicap company for his seasonal reappearance at Haydock in May and he looked a bit ring rusty when finishing 5th of 12. He built on that effort next time at Sandown over 7f, where he was slightly hampered up the home straight but stayed on well to finish 5 of 9 beaten only 2 1/2 lengths. Now back up to 1m and on a big wide track such as Yarmouth he should have no problems getting a clear run and this lightly raced sort can play a part in the finish. Magsood rates a 3 star win Pick.
