Day 4 of Royal Ascot takes centre stage and here are the thoughts of our Racing Factors tipster.

Fairy Godmother was a bit too inexperienced on her racecourse debut at Naas in April to make it a winning start, she did knuckle down well and finish 2nd that day. However she was returned to the same track and distance some 20 days later and showed the benefit of that initial run when storming home late to get up and win (and in doing so turning the form around with the 2nd). She looks like a filly that will keep progressing and might well want further distance in time, however for now a strongly run 6f on a stiff, galloping track such as Ascot will suit her really well. Fairy Godmother rates a 4 star win Pick.

Ramatuelle was a high class 2-year old last season and finished 2nd in the group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville. She looked like she needed the run first time out this year and then ran a cracking race on her second start of the season when 3rd of 16 in the English 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. She tried to make most of the running that day and in a race where it was advantageous to come from off the pace, Ramatuelle did really well to be beaten just 1/2 a length. The round course here at Ascot and stall 1 should be ideal for her and she might take some pegging back if running to her Newmarket form. Ramatuelle rates a 5 star win Pick.
