2.30 pm: Queen Mary Stakes (Group 2) (Fillies)
Leovanni, ridden by jockey James Doyle and trained by K R Burke, triumphed in the Queen Mary Stakes at odds of 22/1. Mighty Eriu (50/1) finished second, with Maw Lam (50/1) securing third place. Another opening race of Ascot has delivered surprise large odds placings.
3.05 pm: Queen’s Vase (Group 2)
Illinois, the 7/4 favourite, claimed victory under the guidance of jockey Ryan Moore and trainer Aiden O’Brien. Highbury (3/1) followed in second place, while Birdman (13/2) took third. Irish horses claim the top six places.
3.45 pm: Duke Of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2) (Fillies & Mares)
Running Lion, piloted by jockey Oisin Murphy and trained by John & Thady Gosden, won the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at 6/1. Laurel (4/1) finished second, and Doom (2/1) completed the top three.
4.25 pm: Prince Of Wales’s Stakes (Group 1)
The highly anticipated Prince Of Wales’s Stakes saw Auguste Rodin, with jockey Ryan More and trainer Aiden O’Brien, emerge victorious at 13/8. Zakarem (33/1) delivered a surprising second-place finish, and Horizon Dove (7/1) took third.
5.05 pm: Royal Hunt Cup
Wild Tiger, ridden by jockey Oisin Murphy and trained by Saeed bin Suroor, claimed first place in the Royal Hunt Cup with odds of 11/2. Sonny Liston (17/2) finished second, and Perotto (25/1) secured third.
5.40 pm: Kensington Palace Stakes
Doha, guided by jockey Hector Crouch and trained by Ralph Beckett, won the Kensington Palace Stakes at 10/1. Hopeful (13/2) came in second, and Victoria Falls (20/1) finished third.
6.15 pm: Windsor Castle Stakes
Ain’t Nobody, ridden by jockey Jamie Spencer and trained by Kevin Ryan, took first place in the Windsor Castle Stakes at 5/1. Gabaldon (16/1) followed in second, with Aviation Time (28/1) in third.
